Push Pier Systems (hydraulically driven piers) utilize high-strength round steel tube sections and a load transfer bracket to stabilize and/or lift sinking or settling foundations. The process involves securing the foundation bracket against the existing footing and driving pier sections hydraulically through the foundation bracket and into the soil below, utilizing the combined structural weight and any contributory soil load as resistance. Push pier systems engineer the stabilization and lifting of settled foundations by driving rugged steel piers deep into stable soil or bedrock, preventing further settlement. The process drives pier sections until they reach a suitable load-bearing stratum. Once reached, either the structure begins to lift or achieves the target pressure/load. Subsequently, the weight of the structure is transferred from the unstable soil to the foundation brackets, through the piers, and to firm load-bearing soil or bedrock.
